Delivery Policy

Tulip Refurnish delivers refurbished furniture to selected UK postcodes. This policy explains how delivery works, what’s included, and what to expect on the day.
1. Where we deliver
We currently deliver to selected postcodes only. You’ll be able to check delivery availability by entering your postcode in our shop page (and again at checkout).
As we grow, we’ll expand coverage carefully rather than over-promising.
2. Delivery pricing
Delivery costs are calculated per order as follows:
- £35 for the first item
- £15 for the second item
- Free for all additional items in the same order
Delivery pricing is shown clearly at checkout before you pay.
3. What delivery includes
Our delivery is designed to be genuinely low effort for you. Delivery includes:
- delivery to your home
- placement in the room of your choice
- assembly where required (or delivery fully assembled where possible)
We do not deliver flat-pack furniture, and we aim to leave you with a piece that’s ready to use.
4. Optional: We can take unwanted furniture (and reward you for it)
If you’re buying from Tulip, we can often take away items of unwanted furniture (usually up to 3) at the time of delivery.
In return, we offer a 20% discount on your next purchase, capped as follows:
- the discount applies to up to £1,000 of purchase value
- the cap does not include delivery charges

- this service is available only alongside and during a Tulip delivery
- items must be reasonably safe to handle (no hazardous contamination, severe structural collapse, or sharp exposed components)
- please note we cannot take mattresses, upholstered items or items with connection to electricity for regulatory reasons
- we may occasionally decline an item if it cannot be safely removed or transported
You’ll be able to specify unwanted furniture removal during checkout.
5. Access and delivery practicalities
Please help us deliver smoothly by letting us know in advance about:
- stairs / lift access
- narrow corridors, tight turns, or door widths
- parking restrictions, gated access, or timed loading bays
- anything that might affect safe handling
For particularly large items, we may contact you ahead of time to confirm access.
If delivery fails due to access issues, we will work with you to find an alternative solution or, where appropriate, arrange a refund. In some cases, a re-delivery fee may apply (we will always communicate this clearly).
6. Delivery windows and timing
Delivery typically takes no longer than 5 business days, depending on item and location. After your order is placed, we’ll provide:
- estimated delivery window, typically within 5 business days
- other delivery options (some might be longer than 5 business days)
7. Problems on delivery
We encourage you to inspect items on delivery. If something is wrong, tell us as soon as possible so we can make it right. Your rights are also covered under our
